There were a number of twists and turns at the third Grand Prix stop in China.

Russia’s Artur Gachinski won the short over Yuzuru Hanyu from Japan and America’s Jeremy Abbott. But in the end, Abbott was the only one to claim a podium finish.

Though he ranked third in the free, a final point total of 228.49 assured him the gold. “It was not my best, but apparently I have good luck in China,” Abbott said of his second Grand Prix victory on Chinese soil.
