It could be said that three-time U.S. champion Jeremy Abbott has taken a page from Aesop’s fable “The Tortoise and the Hare.” The 26-year-old has made a career out of racing to the top of the podium in one competition, only to find himself buried in the standings at the next.
“In my career I have hit a really high point, and then I would hit a really, really low point,” Abbott said. “I’m trying to keep everything very even now. I want to have a smaller range; nothing exceedingly high or crushingly low.
