French ice dancers Nathalie Péchalat and Fabian Bourzat faced some tough challenges throughout their journey last season.
After spending three years training in Moscow, they relocated to the U.S. last spring to work in a new environment with new coaches (Anjelika Krylova and Pasquale Camerlengo), new training partners and new training methods.
The move paid off. Péchalat and Bourzat claimed their second consecutive European title and captured the bronze medal at the World Championships in front of a homeland crowd.
