Tatiana Totmianina and Maxim Marinin were known in the early days of their career for their strong technical skills.
Textbook triple throws and two different side-by-side triple jumps (toe and Salchow) set them apart from their contemporaries. But as the couple advanced they developed into performers whose artistic interpretation captivated audiences.
“On one hand competing seems like a long time ago, but on the other hand it seems like yesterday,” Totmianina reflected. “So many things have changed."
