Chen Lu Honored to be a Torch Bearer, 2006 Olympic Games Options

Chen Lu, the 1995 World champion and two Olympic bronze medalist, was honored to be part of the Olympic Games torch relay. Chen ran with the torch for one-leg of its travels through Venice.

Chen is married to Denis Petrov, the 1992 Olympic and World pairs medalist. Married in July 2005 in China, Chen and Petrov are expecting their first child this coming July.

Chen and Petrov are the program directors at the World Ice Rink, in Shenzhen, China, which lies five minutes from the border of Hong Kong.
