Disson Skating is kicking off the 2012-13 Pandora NBC Skating Series, featuring Olympic, world and national champions in figure skating, as well as world-renowned music superstars.

The shows will be taped in front of live audiences across the United States—from New Jersey to Washington State. NBC will broadcast all four shows nationally.

“Musselman’s Apple Sauce Family Skating Tribute presented by Caesars Atlantic City” will kick off the series, featuring some of the world’s best figure skaters who are also parents. Headlining the show is two-time Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan, two-time Olympic gold medalist Ekaterina Gordeeva, 1998 Olympic gold medalist Ilia Kulik and Olympic silver medalist Paul Wylie, skating solo and joined by their children for special skating performances. The figure skating cast won’t be the only parents in the show. Mother and singer Jewel will perform live as well. The live show will take place on Saturday, November 3 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ, at 7:30 p.m., co-hosted by Kristi Yamaguchi and Michael Weiss. (NBC broadcast: Sunday, November 18 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. (EST)).

The second show is “Pandora Unforgettable Holiday Moments on Ice.” Brian Boitano, 1988 Olympic gold medalist; Elvis Stojko, two-time Olympic silver medalist; and Joannie Rochette, 2010 Olympic bronze medalist lead the figure skating cast, which includes U.S. champions Alissa Czisny, Ashley Wagner, Mirai Nagasu and Ryan Bradley. Once again, holiday music superstars Mannheim Steamroller will perform live throughout the show. Broadway and NBC’s “Smash” star Megan Hilty will also sing live. Hosting the show will be Mannheim Steamroller founder Chip Davis, Kristi Yamaguchi and Michael Weiss. Returning to Grand Canyon University Arena for the second consecutive year, the show will be taped in front of a live audience on Saturday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m. (NBC broadcast: Sunday, November 25, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. (EST)).

The “Progressive Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular” brings together stars of two of the most popular Olympic sports: figure skating and gymnastics. The third Pandora NBC Skating Series show is headlined by Olympic gold medalists in gymnastics from the London Olympics, Gabrielle Douglas, Aly Raisman and Jordyn Wieber, and 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin. World ice dance champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White lead the cast of figure skating hopefuls for Sochi 2014, including Ashley Wagner and Jeremy Abbott. The best of both Olympic Games will be joined by sibling singing group R5 and Nick Jr. stars Fresh Beat Band at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena in Jamestown, NY, on Saturday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. Olympic champions Bart Conner, Nadia Comaneci and Peggy Fleming will host the show. (NBC broadcast: Saturday, January 19, 2013, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. (EST)).

“Pandora Unforgettable Holiday Moments on Ice” returns to the Pandora NBC Skating Series once again from Kent, WA, the venue for 2012 Skate America. The show will be headlined by Nancy Kerrigan and Elvis Stojko, as well as Seattle-area resident and 2006 Olympic ice dance silver medalist Ben Agosto. Barry Manilow will perform live and Kristi Yamaguchi and Michael Weiss will co-host the event. The show will be taped on Friday, January 11, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the ShoWare Center. (NBC will broadcast the show on Sunday, January 27, 2013, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. (EST)).
