Spain’s Javier Fernández captured gold at what is likely his final Challenger Series event. He has indicated that he will retire after the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir claimed the top step of the ice dance podium. Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford claimed silver. This will likely be the last Challenger Series competition for all four decorated Canadians who have all said they will leave the competitive circuit after PyeongChang.
