U.S. Figure Skating today unveiled the schedule for the U.S. qualifying season and the calendar for domestic international events for the 2024-25 season. This includes major competitions such as the 2024 Skate America and the 2025 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
The 2024 Skate America event will be held in Allen, Texas. Meanwhile, the 2025 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the organization’s premier event, will take place in Wichita, Kansas.
“We’re thrilled about our upcoming high-profile events, both nationally and internationally, for the 2024-25 season,” said Tracy Marek, CEO of U.S. Figure Skating. “These events are set to provide outstanding opportunities for skaters of all levels—from juveniles to adults—and for our supporters and the broader skating community. We anticipate excellent performances and memorable experiences as athletes aim to achieve their best across more than 15 sectional, championship, and international events.”
The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series begins with Skate America in Allen, Texas, from October 18-20, 2024. This event will gather some of the world’s best skaters, including U.S. champions, for three days of competition in women’s, men’s, pairs, and ice dance events.
This is the second consecutive year that Skate America will be hosted at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center.
In January, the U.S. Championships will be hosted in Kansas for the first time, taking place from January 20-26, 2025, at the INTRUST Bank Arena. Champions will be declared in the women’s, men’s, pairs, and ice dance categories at both the junior and senior levels, with novice pairs and ice dance also being contested.
“The team at Visit Wichita is extremely excited to host the Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships in 2025. Having hosted four figure skating events in the last seven years, we’ve built a strong partnership with U.S. Figure Skating,” said Josh Howell, vice president of sports development at Visit Wichita. “This event is a fantastic chance for Wichita to display its vibrant and inviting atmosphere to the national figure skating community.”
Tickets for the 2024 Skate America and the 2025 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships will be available on the following dates:

- September 19: Championship single-session tickets
- December 5: Junior single-session tickets
